10:00am — Opening Processional & Community Group Performance Spotlights

10:30am — The Music Battery – marching drum line unit featuring middle school students

11:00am — Joseph Pye Elementary School Performing Artists – dance, choral music, and instrumental music performed by students grades 3-5

11:30am — Dance Moves Youth Co. presents modern dance selections from its 2014/15 season

Noon — Charleston Stage Kids Stage Performance Troupe presents Home Run!, featuring students grades 4-8

12:30pm — Ballet Academy of Charleston’s Jr. Company presents Scenes from Alice in Wonderland, featuring students ages 3-18 yrs.

1:00pm — Dance Theatre of Greenville presents Juxtaposed, a mixed repertory program showcasing contemporary ballet, modern dance, tap, and more

1:30pm — Palmetto Oasis presents belly dances from cultures around the world in Cirque du Ventre

2:30pm — Sumter Civic Dance Company – ballet, jazz, contemporary, swing, tap, and more

3:00pm — Michael Viljac presents The Elvis Experience

10:00am — Walhalla Bavarian Dancers – authentic Bavarian and Austrian dances

10:30am — Adande African Drum & Dance Company – traditional West African drum & dance

11:00am — Purnama Sari Balinese Performing Arts Company – traditional dance and drama from Bali

Noon — Buen Ache Afro-Latino Dance Co – dances and choreodramas exploring the African roots of Latino culture, music, and dance

12:30pm — Indian Association of Greater Charleston – folk, classical, and Bollywood dances of India

1:00pm — Nia Productions – Guinea style African drum & dance featuring youth performers ages 3-17

1:30pm — Hiyas-Min Philippine Cultural Society of Charleston – folk dances of the Philippines

2:00pm — Charleston Scottish Country Dancers – social dances of Scotland, including jigs, reels and strathspeys

2:30pm — Peruvian Folklore – Peruvian folk dances from Costa to Sierra to Selva

3:00pm — Deninufay Praise Dancers – contemporary liturgical dance

3:30pm — Taiko Charleston presents Rhythm Effect, featuring Japanese Taiko drumming involving aspects of the martial arts and dance

 

Courtyard Stage • Bands

10:00am — Forty Mile Detour – original Americana music with accompanying stories

11:00am — Soultry – traditional jazz tunes and R&B covers with a blues edge

Noon — Almost Brothers Band – high energy Motown dance band

1:00pm — Steve Bryson Band – Southern Rock; nominated for Country Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year in 2014 by Nashville Universe

2:00pm — Gators in the Sawgrass – 5-piece stringband combining spaghetti western soundtracks, swampland storytelling, and Bluegrass with a rebel kick

3:00pm — Lions and Liars – Indie-rock and pop-acoustic sounds blended with a modern reggae undertone

 

Exhibit Hall Stage • Youth Entertainment

10:00am — Anna Moo presents Moosical Chairs!, an interactive journey around the globe with multicultural songs and dances

10:30am — Atlantic Coast Theatre presents The Three Little Circus Pigs, a comic retelling of the traditional story

11:30am — Julian Gooding presents The Telling Drum and the Teller of Tales, featuring interactive stories using exotic drums, puppets, and props

Noon — John Tudor presents interactive magic routines in John Tudor’s Magic Theatre

1:00pm — Appalachian Storyteller Johnny Thomas Fowler – fun-filled tales from the Carolina hills with mountain music on the banjo, harmonica, guitar, and fiddle

1:30pm — The Healing Force presents The Healing of the Drum, celebrating African culture through music and storytelling

2:00pm — The Fettucini Brothers – comedy, juggling, variety, and circus style entertainment

3:00pm — Dusty the Dragon – Fire safety education through puppet play and storytelling

3:30pm — Anna Moo presents Moosical Chairs!, an interactive journey around the globe with multicultural songs and dances
